Sunday was such a beautiful day, my friend and I took our sup boards and put in at Barn Island boat launch in Stonington. We paddled out to " sandy beach island " for a clam bake with some friends from work. The inlet was pretty mellow until we had to paddle across the boat channel. Paddleing a stand-up through all the boat wake sure helps you with your balance. I only fell in once.
We ended up paddleing around 6 miles that day.
What a nice adventure. I’m ready to do it again. I also got to see a stingray swim under my board. Didn"t see " JAWS " though.
