there aren’t many of us around and i’m trying to recruit some squirt boaters in the area to get the team going. team rondout/hudson valley can lend a boat if need be (if you can fit in it), just to get you hooked. those who are afraid of being underwater need not apply.
the rondout creek is actually a great squirt run at particular levels and dishes up some good downtime for those who want it enough.

Squirting is dead, face it no one wants to see more zombies in the deep! It will never be cool.

Move to western Mass. We’ve already got a great team here (me, the Mayor and the Dube) and a great mystery spot at CJ on the Deerfield. It’s so good that the western NY guys drive 3+ hours whenever they can to meet up with up with us for a session. Squirt boating in NY is so 1970’s, CJ is the place to be if your’re in the Northeast. We’re so nice that we even let Charles hang with us. tongue

Been there, swam that.

keep the faith, you subsurface folks. There’s too many one dimensional people on the rivers. The river needs people like you.

A few years back, I was poling with some friends on the Deerfield, pushing up by that confluence Bruce mentions. Kids on the rafts are freaking out watching us, then they saw you squirtboat guys heads popping out of the water. Hopefully some of them take up an alternative form of entertainment on the water.
I gave the Rave to Jahn Pearson, Mr. P’s son, after a couple years messing around with it on the Satans kingdom area of the Farmington. Hopefully he’ll put on the 100 pounds he’ll need to sink it, but with the skills he’s got now, he’ll have fun with it I’m sure.
